In the Euchre Online trick-taking game, two-player teams of four players compete against one another. The basic rules of the game are similar to those of Whist in that each player deals one card, and unless a trump suit card is played, the trick is won by the highest card of the led suit. One of the teams will be tasked with discovering the trump. Then, in that hand, they must prevail in the majority of the tricks. This is a significant deviation from Whist. There will be several rounds of the euchre game until one team scores 10 points, at which point the game is over.
